Ayahuasca - Machupicchu 7 days


Day 1: Arrival in Cusco

Airport pick-up and airport-hotel transfer

Overnight: Hotel*** in Cusco city.


Day 2: Sacsayhuaman sacred site and the Moon temple

At 8:30 am aprox. we will visit thearqueological complex of Sacsayhuaman and the temple of the moon, free time in the afternoon.

Overnight: Hotel*** in Cusco city.


Day 3: Ayahuasca retreat center

10:00 Meeting place Plaza San Francisco from there shuttle bus to the ETNIKA retreat center.

10:00 Departure to the retreat center.

11:00 Meeting with the staff and orientation of the center.

11:30 Group meeting – introduction to the shamans, discussion about ayahuasca and ceremonies intentions.

13:00 Coca leaves ceremony and prayer for the unification of energies.

14:00 Individual consultation with shaman.

14:30 Cleansing and floral ceremony.

16:00 Time to relax.

19:50 Preparation for ceremony, quiet /personal meditation in the main hall.

20:00 First Ayahuasca ceremony.


Day 4: Ayahuasca retreat center

08:00 Breakfast.

09:00 Group meeting – a chance to share the teachings you learn from the Ayahuasca ceremony.

10:30 Individual consultation with shaman.

12:00 Time for relaxation and introspection.

15:30 Relaxation Yoga.

19:50 Preparation for ceremony, quiet /personal meditation in the main hall.

20:00 Second Ayahuasca ceremony.


Day 5: Ayahuasca retreat center

08:00 Breakfast.

09:00 Offering of gratitude to Pachamama or Mother Earth.

10:15 Group meeting – a chance to share the teachings you learn from the Ayahuasca ceremony. An explanation of dietary restriction post-retreat, as well as explanation of vision and mission of Etnikas.

11:30 Individual consultation with shaman.

11:30 Opportunity to buy cultural hand craft from the shipibo and Andean shamans.

12:50 Group photo with Shamans and farewell.

13:00 Transport-return to Cusco Plaza San Francisco.

Day 6: Wonderful Machupicchu

Very early in the morning we will pick up from your hotel, we will go to the Ollantaytambo train station. Then, you will take the train to get Machu picchu town (the train lasts about 2 hours). Then, we will pick you up from the Machupicchu train station and transfer to the bus station. We will take the early bus up to the stunning archeological complex of Machu Picchu (The bus ride lasts about 15 minutes). After that, you will meet your guide and other group members.

The exciting exploration begins with a visit to the world famous Machupicchu Sacred Temples (Sun Temple, Condor Temple) agricultural terraces, sacred rocks, water fountains, the famous Intihuatana and other important Inca buildings. During the tour, our guide will explain the meanings , importance and story of Machupicchu while we walk around the Machu picchu city for around 2 hours. After your tour you'll have free time to explore the site by yourself.

Later in the afternoon you will take the bus back down to Aguas Calientes where you will take the train back to Ollantaytambo and then carry on by car to Cusco, where we will arrive late at night.

Day 7: Departure from Cusco
