Cotahuasi Canyon 4 Days
It is the deepest know canyon in the world. It is around twice the deep of the Grand Canyon with stretches dropping down to below 3300 m. While the dephs of the of the ravine are only accesible to experienced river runners, the rest of the fertile valley is also rick in striking escenery and trekking opportunities. On this tour you will visit: The TORO Muerto Petrogliphs, The Cotahuasi Canyon, Sipia Waterfall, Visbe and Taurisma and the Thermal baths of Luicho.

Cotahuasi Canyon 4 Days
Day 1: Arequipa - Cotahuasi
At 5:00 AM: pick up from the hotel and transport toward the Majes valley going by Corire, Aplao, and great natural beauty of Arma, it is a kind of hostel where they usually serve fried trout, then the estribaciones is skirted (6116 mts. alt.) We arrive to Cotahuasi, Reception, dinner and spend overnight.
Day 2: Cotahuasi - Alca
Early in the morning, we leave to Cotahuasi town, (2684 msnm) the narrow streets and whitened houses are sample evidences of the Spanish. The road continues to the bottom of the parallel canyon to the river, extensive brunches spread its aroma to the 4 winds, soon arrive to Atomepampa , more ahead there is a small hanging bridge on the river Cotahuasi, it drives to Visbe and Taurisma, but following the highway, it arrives to Alca.
Day 3: Alca - Sipia - Cotahuasi
Early in the morning and after the breakfast we’ll go to the gigantic waterfalls from Sipia by horses, 3 hrs aprox, where the river Cotahuasi with all its flow throws from to height of 50 mts, giving originto permanent rainbow that is formed in the clouds of vapor. return to the Ccotahuasi town, overnight in a hotel.
Day 4: Cotahuasi Arequipa
At opportune hour, return to the Arequipa city, not without before to go by the charmed castles of Majes where we will listen the nymph’s voices toss and the enigmatic stones of Toro muerto. Arrive to arequipa city.
